Principal’s Report:  Thank you for coming.  Special thanks to the following people:  Laurel and Julie for hosting the teacher’s dinner, Debbie Combs for hosting the safety pizza lunch and Nikki Cipponeri for hosting the Santa Shop.  Mrs. Weber’s class was on the Channel 7 -Shout out- this morning.  They were on a waiting list for two years.  Conferences had a great turn out.  Gingerbread houses are so creative and everyone had fun and did a nice job.  Thank you for completing the parent surveys at conferences.  We collected three boxes of candy to send to Iraq.  Mrs. Baird is hosting a cookie exchange and ornament drive for Relay for life.  Pennies for Pies:  We purchased 20 pies for Thanksgiving and we would like to meet the same goals for Christmas.  The canned food drive is going on through Christmas. We are also collecting Toys for Tots.  Math tutoring after school started December 10th, for all qualified students.  By-Laws are posted on our web site.

Teacher’s Report:  No teacher representative present since this was a morning meeting and Ms. Flaherty was in her class.

PTO to date:  Laurel May reported that we are all working very hard this month.  Everyone’s help is appreciated.  Laurel presented a list of up-to-date expenditures.  We all need to respect each other.

Field Trip Shirts:  Pat Herman reports that we have collect $275.20 in cans and bottles.  There will be a can for donations at the Dinner with Santa.  We are still collecting bottle and cans.

Santa Shop:  Nikki Cipponeri would like to thank everyone and really appreciates all the help she received for the shop.  This is a model example of how cooperation from last year’s chairperson and working together can be a success.

Dinner with Santa:  Nanette Jackson, chairperson informed us that 84 families for a total of 280 people are attending our dinner.  Fifty five pizzas are scheduled for delivery.  Pictures with Santa will be a 5x7 and our cost for developing is $.38.  We will sell them for $2.00 each with $1.00 being allocated for expenses associated with the pictures.    Our Raffle tickets will be 2 for $1.00 and 5 for $2.00.  So far we have deposited $897.00.  A budget of $400.00 has been allocated.   A flyer will be sent to notify our families of the changes that had to be made due to budget issues.  Set up begins at 12:30, if you’d like to help please come.  All monies collected will go to help our 11 needy families.

Sock Hop:  This event is just for fun. It is not a fund raiser.  Chips, snacks and drinks are provided.  We need a D.J. to provide music.  Marilyn Leonardi has volunteered to be chair person.

Talent Show:  Brooke Goodnough is chairperson.  Julie Raymond is the co-chairperson.
