for success is required by State of
Michigan law. Students will be
excused during an illness, following a
death in the family, or by
prearrangement.
Proper
documentation must be submitted to the

or a tardy. Only a physician's
note will excuse an illness.
|
If your child is
absent or tardy and you do not have proper
documentation you must contact the attendance
office at (586) 445-4136 by 9:30 a.m. to verify
your child's whereabouts.
Letters will be
sent home to alert parents/guardians when a
child's absences and tardies become excessive.
At 15 absences (for the school year) or at nine tardies
(in one
semester) your child will be referred to the Macomb
County Truancy Officer.
