Supportive Counseling Groups concerning life issues will begin in mid March. As part of the Lakeview Schools Guidance and Counseling Program, students are invited to participate in educational support groups. Supportive counseling groups provide children with common life experiences and concerns, the opportunity to meet together under the guidance of Princeton School Counselor, Ms. Morisette. Students listen, learn and share with one another through discussions and activities. General goals of each supportive group are listed below. Membership will consist of 5-7 students in each group, and will meet once a week for six weeks. Most likely groups will meet either during lunch, right after lunch or at the end of the school day. Days and times will be determined at the formation of the group. All students must have parent or guardian permission before joining.
